How to fix the microphone not working in Linux Mint

Is your laptop’s camera immediately not working every time you restart your laptop?If yes,then the steps below might help you out.

  1. Go to sound settings
  2.  Click on “Input” bar
  3. Ensure that the internal microphone is enabled
  4. Adjust the sound volume slider to 0%  then move  the slider to about 50%
  5. The microphone should now be working
